EUROPORTFOLIO EVENT
EUROPORTFOLIO, the network of European ePortfolio experts and practitioners, is present with a workshop at the EADTU conference in Hagen, Germany on October 30, 2015 (9 a.m.-11 a.m.). This workshop, entitled “Brigding the Gaps and Joining the Dots”, will focus on EUROPORTFOLIO’s ePortfolio & Open Badges Maturity Framework and OERs and MOOCs on ePortfolios.  However, there is a range of further achievements within the EUROPORTFOLIO project, such as a Competency Framework which is an important driver for the use of ePortfolios for the recognition of prior learning as well as for assessment and accreditation of competencies at schools, universities, or at the workplace. Technology-based teaching and learning lead to the transformation of higher education. Through new modes of teaching and learning,  three complementary educational areas are emerging in European higher education: (1) blended and online degree education; (2) flexible continuous education and continuous professional development online, including new types of short programmes; and  (3) online open education through OERs and MOOCs.

Nordic Chapter af Europortfolio er stolt af at præsentere tre forskere, som hver på sin måde arbejder med ikke-traditionelle måder at evaluere og anerkende studerendes kompetencer.Ilona Buchem, Beuth Technische Hochschule, BerlinIlona Buchem har arbejdet med at anerkende sine studerendes kompetencer ved at uddele batches. Det er sket i formatet Open Badges, som er et digitalt format, som Mozilla står bag. En badge er et symbol eller indikator på en bedrift, kompetence, kvalitet eller interesse.
